Daniel was born and raised in London then moved to Saskatchewan, Canada after training as a dancer at The Ballet Rambert School (Central School of Dance) in London.
Daniel received a Full Sports Scholarship to Kelly College for Rugby and Athletics. He held many South West England records for 400m Hurdles and middle distance events in athletics and reached the finals at the All England Schools. Having lived on a horse ranch in Canada, Daniel is an accomplished horseman and he was also a professional Bull Rider on the Ram Rodeo Tour. As a result he spent two seasons on CBC's 'Heartland'. He makes good use of those skills on film sets.

Daniel had an amazing renaissance life and careers and owes much of it to the opportunity that was given to him at Kelly. His mantra is “Mediocrity is doing what you can. Success is doing what it takes.”
