It was a pleasure to welcome back to the Prep former Mount House pupils Barry Carter (1947-52) and Mike Whitmarsh (1950-55). Barry last visited in 2017 with his sons, all the way from California, and this was Mike's first visit since leaving the School 67 years ago! They shared many memories of stories of derring-do including swimming in the river Tavy and climbing up ropes suspended from the balustrades on the mezzanine floor in the Main Hall. Neither could remember where in the building food was served in the 40s and 50s....if anyone knows the answer, please let us know!
