Congratulations to OMK Christopher Jolly (1952-19567) for his Investiture last week.  Christopher was awarded an OBE in the New Year Honours List 2024 for services to education. He has worked for over 30 years as a pioneer in the promotion of using phonics in the early teaching of reading and writing. His programme, Jolly Phonics, is now used in primary schools across England helping to improve literacy amongst children.
