Chris Heyliger (1961-65) and his cycle group pledged to cycle 2300 miles (the distance from Wokingham to Ankara) in 4 weeks during Lockdown whilst raising money for the NHS. They smashed their target, raised £6500 and ended up making it to Mecca (4000 miles) instead!
