OMK Julian Ellacott (1989-1996) has just been re-elected for his third and final year as Chairman of the Conservative Party's National Convention, which is the Party's volunteer 'wing'.  This makes him a Deputy Chairman of the overall Party, and the leading voice for grassroots members and activists; he is also heavily involved in overseeing the Party's finances and the selection of its Parliamentary candidates.  

Julian says "Being elected straight after the 2024 General Election has made this a tough but important role, working with Kemi Badenoch and her team to recover from defeat".

His day job remains as an actuary, now working as Chief Actuary and CFO at insurance company National Friendly, based in Bristol.
