In Memoriam |
We are deeply saddened to share the news that Peter Williams (Former Staff, 1970-1998) passed away yesterday. Peter was a much-loved English teacher, rugby coach and Housemaster.
Peter's wife, Anne, and daughter, Emma, have asked to share the following message about Peter's funeral arrangements:
We would like to thank everyone for their cards and kind words following Peter’s death. It has been of great comfort to us to hear that you also felt him to be a special man and that many of you consider that he was a positive influence in your life.
Peter was a proud Cornishman and his last journey will be to Bodmin crematorium on 5th June. This means that, unfortunately, numbers in attendance are restricted. However, if you would like to attend virtually we will be live streaming the funeral at 2.30 [please find details below].

Please note: This will be available to view live and then not for 2-3 days after the service. It will then be available once again for 28 days for anyone wishing to view again.
We are having family flowers only but should you wish to make donation in lieu of flowers you can do so online via the funeral directors’ website https://www.morrisbros.co.uk/ (there is a button on the left-hand side of the page). The collection is for St Luke’s Hospice whose outreach teams were of great support, both to Peter and us, during his final days.
We also hope to have a memorial service at Mount Kelly later in the summer (date to be confirmed) and look forward to seeing many of you there.
We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Michael Tibbs (1929-1934), the last known former pupil of Mount House when it was located in Plymo… More...
