We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of OMK Nadir Mohamed (1969-1971).  Nadir was a prominent and well-respected business leader in Canada.

His friend and neighbour in Canada wrote in with these words:

It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you of the passing of Nadir Mohamed.  While I did not know Nadir during his time at Kelly College, I was fortunate to have him as a neighbor in West Vancouver, where we both lived in the same community and prayed at the same mosque.

Though our paths did not cross at the College, I know that his legacy lives on in the people who knew him. I also have the privilege of knowing members of his wife’s family, and I can speak to the profound impact he had on all those around him. His kindness and dedication to those close to him will not be forgotten.

I thought it important to share this news with the alumni community, as I know how much being part of such a unique and close-knit institution meant to him. May his memory serve as a reminder of the connections we share, even beyond the walls of the College, and the impact we have on one another’s lives.
