Congratulations to Mark Deeble (1968-74), whose name was chosen out of the hat for the Deluxe Devon Cream Tea Hamper prize for signing up to Mount Kelly Connect before 14 June!  He also gets the prize for best view!!

Mark studied Zoology at Imperial College and is a celebrated cinematographer who worked on Terrence Malick’s Voyage of Time, Enchanted Kingdom 3D, and BBC’s Africa. He wrote and co-directed The Elephant Queen, their first theatrical feature and the culmination of eight years dedicated to telling the story of a very special elephant matriarch. It is a must see!

Mark and his sons, Janna (2010) and Jacca (2013), attended Mount House and they all have a passion for wildlife and the environment, dedicating their careers to capturing and sharing on film the wonders of nature. Janna has worked with David Attenborough on the Planet Earth series and Jacca is currently filming underwater in Scotland for the BBC.
