"The Mount Kelly Chelsea programme has played a huge role in helping me transition smoothly to university life. Through its strong focus on football, I developed discipline, resilience, and teamwork skills that now help me both on and off the pitch. The leadership opportunities in the programme taught me how to take responsibility, communicate effectively, and support others — qualities that have been invaluable in university settings. Most importantly, the friendships I built during my time there gave me confidence, a sense of belonging, and lifelong connections."  Alice Gue

"Being in the first group of football girls to leave Mount Kelly and go into different routes, we have all managed to be successful in the path we each decided to take. Some staying in England and others moving to America, we all came to Mount Kelly sharing a love of football which lead us to learn new and different skills and developing at our sport along side Tommy and Judith. It was more than Football with them . We were a very good group of girls coming from all over England as well as Canada, and together we set each other up for great futures. Even though each one of us took a different route we have all become leaders or captains in our current university or club teams, which shows how far each of us has come as individuals in the past 2 years due to the values gained whilst at Mount Kelly." Rosie Train

"The football programme through Sixth Form really helped me transition to University life. The focus on football taught me so much more then how to play football and act on the pitch - it built my discipline, resilience and sense of team work which I know carry in everything I do. Both coaches, Tommy and Judith, have been instrumental in guiding me through the 2 years of football at Mount Kelly and helped me take my next steps in football finding the right university. They weren’t just coaches, both provided invaluable guidance and support on my A-levels and ensured that I had the right balance between my sports and education. Captaining the team at Mount Kelly showed me how to take responsibility, communicate openly and be there for others. Not only on the pitch did it help me, I made so many friendships and connections which will help my career in later life, giving me a sense of confidence and a real sense of belonging no matter where I am."  Emma Hunt
