It was a pleasure to welcome OMK Chris Bellers back this week for an for an informal discussion and dinner with members of the History Society. Chris is a member of Tavistock's local history society and has produced a history of Rev Mr Frederick Rodda, an OMK (1904-11) who fought in the Great War and came back as a member of staff (1919-23), his life then being cut short by injuries sustained during the War. There is a dedication to him in a window in the Tavistock Roman Catholic Church.
Over dinner the pupils enjoyed discussing genealogy and local history and were delighted to hear about what Chris went on to do once he left school.
