From Air to Water

Stephen (also know as Syahmi Naim) lives in Malaysia and is the Director of Veragon Srl, a company that aims to provide sustainable, clean, pure drinking water where it’s needed most, when it is needed most, in the most extreme conditions. They take the water vapour from the air around us, filter it, condense it and turn it into pure, clean drinking water. Their aim is to bring water to communities that are often lacking in something that we all take for granted - clean drinking water.

Stephen has been involved in various businesses over the years and fell into his latest venture through his business connections; he has now found something that he feels give him purpose.  When asked for top tips on finding your perfect job, he replied, 'Whatever you do, do it with passion and confidence and no matter what you do you will be enriched by the experience'.

Stephen came back to visit his old school recently and all of the memories of his time at Mount House came flooding back. He reflected back on  the best bits and said, 'the opportunities presented by the school in terms of broadening horizons – some of which were not as accepted at the time as they are now, ie the opportunity to listen to classical music and the appreciation of the arts'. He also recalled happy times with friends, 'The Mount House Wanderers.'  He credits those years with teaching him many things, in particular: discipline, consistency and determination.
